Here you will find information about all the scholarships available to our members, and there are many! Many of these scholarships are not being used to their full potential, so don’t be timid about applying for them. In addition, we will provide information relevant to insurance industry designation requirements and/or changes.

CLP (Certified Leadership program is a premier learning program aimed at developing essential leadership skills for career development. The program consists of four modules encompassing seventeen course topics. Individuals completing the entire program are eligible to app for Certified Leadership Professional (CLP) designation.
CIIP (Certified Insurance Industry Professional)
IAIP member can earn Certified Insurance Industry Professional and the Diversified Advanced Education (DAE) designations.
Members may apply for the Certified Insurance Industry Professional (CIIP) designation in lieu of the (CPIW/CPIM). The requirements for the CIIP designation will be the same as the CPIW/CPIM.
If you hold the CPIW/CPIM designation and you would like to transfer to the CIIP, please email your request to Membership@iaip-ins.org
Want to be able to receive a free update for your CISR designation? The National Alliance has created a pilot program for California CISR’s.
If you are an “active member of IAIP” as well as having completed the CISR designation program offered through the National Alliance, you may be eligible for a free update! Just take one (1) new participant to the core CISR class and if you both complete the class, you will receive a full scholarship to your next update.

***Attention Ins 21,22 and 23 Certificate Holders!!
AICPCU and the Insurance Education Association (IEA) have a designation available for those who have completed the three INS Insurance Courses (INS21, INS22 and INS23). It is the “Associate in General Insurance” (AINS) Designation. All that is required for certificate holders is to go online at aicpcu.org and complete the FREE Ethics 311 class. For more information, you may contact customer service at the Institutes at (800-644-2101) or email Customer Service at firstname.lastname@example.org
The information for this new designation is posted on the AICPCU website. www.aicpcu.org. Please note that there are no CE credits associated with the Ethics 311 class and it will not apply to your California Insurance License.

REGION VII SCHOLARSHIP – LEGACY Name
Established in 1986, this scholarship supports members of Region VII (formerly Region VIII) who want to invest in their insurance education but who may have either limited or no support from employers. The scholarship will reimburse registration and book expenses up to $500 per person/ per calendar year. The scholarship is fund is supported by donations from Region VII members, associations, sponsors and fundraising raffles at the Regional Conference. To apply for this scholarship- read the scholarship guidelines and complete the application.
REGION VII SCHOLARSHIP FUND GUIDELINES
PURPOSE: Imperial Premium Finance, Inc., established this fund to providing financial assistance to the Region VIII (now Region VII) NAIW/IAIP members who require assistance for their insurance educational endeavors. It continues with support from Region VII members, Association donations and sponsorship support.
OBJECTIVE: To promote career development and education among Region VIII (now Region VII) NAIW/IAIP members.
1. The applicant must be an active member of NAIW/IAIP Region VII in good standing, for at least one year prior to applying to the fund.
2. The course must be in a subject related to insurance or leadership
3. A completed scholarship application must be signed by the President or Education Chair of the local association (or the RVP or Education Director for MALS) verifying the applicant’s IAIP membership status.
4. A copy of the applicant’s class/course registration form must accompany the completed application. If applicable, receipts for books purchased separately will also be required.
ADMINISTRATION: Scholarship submissions will be reviewed as they are received. Based on the information submitted and at the discretion of the trustees, the Scholarship funds will be disbursed.
The scholarship fund gladly accepts donations from members and associations to support the education of our members. In addition, sponsorship form industry related organization are welcome.
SCHOLARSHIPS are limited to $500.00 per calendar year, per recipient.
The scholarship was established in 1986 with $1,000 (plus interest) donated at the Conference by Imperial Premium Finance, Inc. and $500 donated by Tri-City Plus Association of Insurance Women, Inc.
