Hello everyone. I would like to start by introducing myself. My name is Marie Meadows and I am employed by Intact Insurance in San Francisco, CA. My current position is Underwriting Consultant for the Ocean Marine Department. I am also the President Elect for San Francisco Insurance Professionals, SFIP. I am excited to serve as the CA Council Assistant to Council Director Jody Nishida. I have been a member since 2008 and my primary association is the San Francisco Insurance Professionals. I currently serve as the Vice-President of my local association as well as the chair for Golf and Newsletter.

Hello everyone. For those of you who may not know me, my name is Jolene Galvan, I am from Riverbank, CA and I am employed with DiBuduo & Defendis Insurance. My current position is Commercial Lines Marketing Specialist.

I have been a member of IAIP since 1989 (NAIW) and I am currently a Member-at-Large.  I am honored to be the California Council Public Relations Chair for the next two years.  I look forward to learning of your accomplishments so that I might share on our website.  I also look forward to presenting the CWC Event at the Council Meeting.

I am excited to serve as the CA Council Public Relations liaison. I have been a member since 2002 and my primary association is the San Diego Association of Insurance Professionals. I am a dual member of the Insurance Professionals of Orange County. I currently serve as the Secretary of my local association as well as the chair for Awards, Bylaws and Newsletter. On the Regional level, I am the Region VII Marketing Director.  I serve as the Co-Chair of the International Member Engagement and Services Task Force. I retired in 2014 after 35 years in the insurance industry as a personal lines account manager.  I have served in all local officer positions and committees and on the Council level as PR Chair, PR liaison and Safety liaison. I am a past CD and RVP Assistant.

Mary Moore-Campagna, CPCU, AIM, ARP, AAM, AAI, AIAF, AIS, CPIW is a Member-At-Large, a past California State Council Director and a past Region VIII RVP. She originally joined the association in 1987 and is now a life member of IAIP.

I am currently a member of the San Diego Association of Insurance Professionals (SDAIP), serving on the board as the first past President, Ways & Means Chair and Membership Chair for the 2024-2026 terms! I have been a member since 2015 and love being a part of and contributing to my local association.

With over 23 years in the insurance industry, I have worked with a wide variety of insured's, coverage lines and worked in various roles, primarily on the commercial agency side. During these past 10+ years I’ve specialized in writing coverages for the entertainment and sports industries, including equipment rental houses, sporting events, and special events such as concerts, festivals, parades, etc. I am also well versed in writing performing artists such as actors, musicians, and comedians.

I have been in the insurance industry since 2001. I started my career as a claim examiner at Allied Insurance. Over the years I have worked for various carriers such as AIG (Lexington), Affiliated FM, and several Managing General Agencies.  My duties include underwriting and brokerage. My most recent opportunity was with a startup where I had the privilege to serve as President and Managing Director.

I joined the San Francisco Insurance Professionals (SFIP) in 2011 and served as a Director from 2012-2013 when I left the organization. I rejoined SFIP in 2022 and in 2024 will serve as a Director on the SFIP Board and Safety Liaison on the California Council Board.

I am the author of several legal and academic articles and a book on the international human rights of women and children. In 2024, I will publish my first fictional trilogy, “The Reluctant Sorcerer”.

Greetings from Carola!  I am your Southern California Membership Liaison and am enthusiastically looking forward to working with CA Council Director, Jody Nishida and Membership Chair, Gina Patterson on offering my association experiences in igniting our CA members and the insurance communities at large on celebrating and utilizing ALL the Membership Benefits of IAIP. I also want to be able to share with you the part of  Connecting Members, Building Careers  (which goes hand in hand with Membership) as advocated by our IAIP President, Vickie Harmon! 

As a recent retiree of over 40 years in industry, I've enjoyed being a member since 2002, I’ve served in all offices within IPOC and IWNSD (North San Diego County), and have been blessed to serve at Council level on Host Committees, as volunteer, helper, donator, networker, Committee and Chair. This association truly brings us closer at all levels especially in friendship and understanding!
