2016 Conference Community Outreach Program:
On behalf of IPLA and Region VIII we are proud to have partneredwith a deserving local charity, the Burbank Temporary Aid Center, for families in crisis. The BTAC is thrilled to receive our much needed support. I spoke to the director and the items needed the most to fill the pantry are dry boxed mixes like pancake mix, Mac and Cheese, boxed instant potatoes, stuffing and pasta. No ramen noodles please as they will not be accepted.
The center will provide us with collection bins. The bins will be at the Welcome Party on Friday night. If each one of us brings at least one item....can you imagine the families we will help! We' can also collect from members that are not able to attend conference but still want to help. And we all know we are a group that Goes All In and truly believes in giving back and I am so proud to be a part of Region VIII.
If you would like me to pick up items for you just let me know what you would like to spend and I will do the shopping.
There is additional information on the web site at www.ipla.biz or feel free to contact me with any questions and I will be happy to help. My contact is
